Main Street offers UT raffle | Main Street Union City
IT’S FOOTBALL TIME — Main Street Union City is offering area residents a chance to win four tickets to the Nov. 7 University of Tennessee at Knoxville football game donated by ATA, two nights at a cottage in Gatlinburg donated by Main Street-Union City and a $100 gas card donated by Little General. The UT Football Weekend raffle includes a two-night stay at a cottage which has two bedrooms with king-sized beds and a sofa sleeper to sleep a total of four to six guests, a hot tub and a fireplace. If the weekend of the football game doesn’t work well, Main Street executive director Glenda Chrisp (not pictured) said the winner may pay a $25 fee and change the date of the cottage stay. The date of the football game cannot be changed, she added. Raffle tickets, which are $10 each, may be purchased from any Main Street board member, including president Lindsay Frilling and vice president Tommy Gurley, or from Mrs. Chrisp at the Main Street office on Depot Street. The drawing will be held at the office at noon on Sept. 21. Ticketholders do not have to be present to win. All proceeds will benefit Main Street projects.
