Master Gardeners visit with P. Allen Smith

SPECIAL LUNCHEON — Members of the Northwest Tennessee Master Gardeners’ Club recently attended the 50th anniversary celebration of Ferry Morse in Fulton, where they enjoyed seminars and a private luncheon with nationally-known garden expert P. Allen Smith. Those attending included (front, from left) Tommy Wicker, Liz Wicker, Judi Pitts, Paula Breeden, Josephine Keightley, Jenny Courtright, Linda Harrelson, (back) Betty Britt, Betty Smith, Tracey Batey, Cindy Kuberski, Sherry Headden, Ann Moore and Vickie McKnight. Anyone interested in becoming a Master Gardener is encouraged to take the upcoming classes beginning in October. A brief informational meeting will be held Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at the Weldon Library in Martin.
