A number of lecturers, instructors, assistant professors and associate professors have been appointed to the faculty at the University of Tennessee at Martin for the fall semester.
They were introduced at the annual fall faculty meeting. Classes began Aug. 31.
“One of the highlights of my job is interviewing faculty candidates, and this year’s new faculty will be outstanding additions to the instructional team,” said Dr. Jerald Ogg, vice chancellor for academic affairs. “They understand our mission, and they are committed to making a difference in the educational lives of our students.
“Hires like this would not happen without the efforts of the faculty, department chairs and deans who worked so diligently to recruit these exceptional teacher-scholar-servants.
