UC council to meet

Union City’s city council will meet this evening in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. for a public hearing to discuss setting a tax rate for fiscal year 2009-10. Following that session, the council will meet to consider an ordinance setting the tax rate for the City of Union City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, and ending June 30, 2010.
The meetings are open to the public.
Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
