The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Oct. 5-9, which is National School Lunch Week:
Union City High School
Monday, Oct. 5 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 6 — Beef spaghetti with meat sauce, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, fresh salad cup, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 8 — Parent/teacher conference.
Friday, Oct. 9 — Professional development.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School
Monday, Oct. 5 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 6 — Beef spaghetti with meat sauce, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, fresh salad cup, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 6 — Cheeseburger with bun or corn dog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Chicken Tetrazinni or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, baby carrots, green peas, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 8 — Parent/teacher conference.

Breakfast
Monday, Oct. 5 — French toast with syrup or cereal/graham crackers, fruit juice and milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 6 (half-day) — Pop Tarts or cereal/cinnamon toast, fruit juice and milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Breakfast bagel or cereal/graham crackers, fruit juice and milk.
Thursday, Oct. 8 — Breakfast Hot Pocket or cereal/cheese toast, fruit juice and milk.
Friday, Oct. 9 — Breakfast pizza or cereal/toast, fruit juice and milk.
Lunch
Monday, Oct. 5 — Peanut butter and jelly Munchin’ Meal (sack lunch) or crispito with cheese, French fries, pinto beans, mixed fruit, Fruit Roll-up, pudding and milk or juice.
Tuesday, Oct. 6 — Half-day, Parent-Teacher Conference, no lunch.
Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Corn dog or burrito, English peas, whole kernel corn, sliced pears, Jell-O and milk or juice.
Thursday, Oct. 8 — Pork patty with bread or steak and gravy with bread, creamed potatoes, green beans, pineapple tidbits and milk or juice.
Friday, Oct. 9 — Hot dog/chili dog with bun or turkey salad, tater tots, slaw, applesauce, cookie and milk or juice.
