The Messenger, October 1, 2009 When the Obion County Museum, located at 1004 Edwards St., opens the new exhibit put together by the Discovery Park of America Military Display/History Committee this weekend, there will be a few extra surprises in store. A U.S. Army helicopter will fly in Saturday afternoon and land on the Union City High School band practice field, located on Russell Street behind the museum. Guests will be welcome to view the helicopter up close, as well as a humvee provided by the National Guard, from 1-3 p.m. and to enjoy the impressive military display inside the museum, which will be open 1-4 p.m. Admission to the museum is $2.
