Theft reported

Union City police are investigating the theft of a Trane central unit from Graham Heating & Air, located at 212 West Main St.
Police were summoned shortly after 8 a.m. Monday to the business, where Alan Graham reported someone had taken a 21⁄2-ton Trane central unit from beside his building, according to a Union City Police Department report.
He told police he last saw the unit about 5 p.m. Sunday.
The unit is valued at $500, according to the report.
