Communion planned

Union City First United Meth-odist Church will celebrate communion this evening at 6 in the sanctuary at 420 East Main St. All are welcome to this special time, which will include scripture reading, special music and contemplation of the true story of Christmas.

Dr. David Russell and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Watch Night Service set

Star of Bethlehem Assembly of God will host a Watch Night service beginning at 8 p.m. Dec. 31.

The church is located off Highway 22 or the Old Lake Road. Signs are posted.

The Rev. Trudy Cary of Faith and Deliverance Church in South Fulton will be the guest speaker.

The Rev. Chris Brady and the congregation invite everyone to join them and be part of the services on that special night.

There will be a time of fellowship in the activities building after the service and special singing will follow that.

“Come and bring in the new year with us. God bless,” the pastor said.

Christmas Eve service set

St. James’ Episcopal Church, located at 422 East Church St. in Union City, will welcome members and guests to the annual Christmas Eve service this evening, with music beginning at 10:30 and the mass at 11.

The Rev. Donald Brooks is the rector.
