The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for the week of Jan. 11-15:
Union City High School
Monday, Jan. 11 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Jan. 12 — Ham, macaroni and cheese, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, cornbread, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 13 — Vegetable beef soup and grilled cheese sandwich, carrot sticks, black-eyed peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 14 — Chicken patty with bun, corn, purple hull peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 15 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Thursday, Jan. 14 — Pizza or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, corn, purple hull peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

Thursday, Jan. 14 — French toast with syrup or cereal with graham cracker, juice and milk.
Friday, Jan. 15 — Breakfast bagel or cereal with toast and jelly, juice and milk.
Lunch
Monday, Jan. 11 — Peanut butter and jelly Munchin’ Meal or whole-grain pizza, macaroni and cheese, green peas, sliced pears, Goldfish crackers and milk or juice.
Tuesday, Jan. 12 — Turkey and cheese Munchin’ Meal or crispito with cheese, corn on the cob, pinto beans, sliced peaches and milk or juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 13 — Ham and cheese Munchin’ Meal or turkey casserole with bread, mashed potatoes, fried squash, mixed fruit, Jell-O and milk or juice.
Thursday, Jan. 14 — Pork patty with whole-grain bun or chicken patty with whole-grain bun, cheesy potatoes, green beans, orange wedges and milk or juice.
Friday, Jan. 15 — Barbecue with whole-grain bun or turkey salad with crackers, slaw, French fries, fresh apple, pudding and milk or juice.
