| Dresden crash victim identified |

An 18-year-old Martin resident who was killed in a car accident on Hwy. 22 near Kountry Korner in Dresden has been identified as Michael Levister.
Levister, of Nethery Road in Martin, had apparently crossed the opposing lane of traffic and collided with the rea of a tractor-trailer carrying a farm implement, according to WCMT. Emergency responders had to extricate Levister from his vehicle.
The radio station reported friends of Levister said he had gone hunting that day and fatigue may have played a role in the collision.
The accident is still under investigation and Dresden authorities have not yet released the accident report. Services at Sharon's Gardner Funeral Home are incomplete at this time pending an autopsy of Levister's body.
