Commodities will be distributed by Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 9 a.m.-noon at the following locations:
• Hornbeak City Hall Tuesday for recipients from Hornbeak;
• Obion community center Wednesday for recipients from Troy and Obion:
Distribution will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the Union City office at 1015 East College St. for Union City, Kenton and South Fulton recipients.
Recipients must have a yellow card. Those without cards must bring proper proof of income for everyone in the household. No applications will be accepted without verification. Because of inventory shortages of some foods, applicants may not receive the same number of items as someone else if an item runs out. There is also a shortage of boxes, so those picking up items are asked to bring their own boxes or bags.
For more information, call Sarah Kay at 885-0462 or go by the office.
