Parenting class set

A “parenting in transition” class has been set for parents filing for divorce who have children 18 years old and younger. The class will be held Monday at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City from 5-9 p.m. Walk-ins will be accepted.
Parents can attend this class together. To register or to receive more information, call Pam (Avery) Murphy at 538-9257. The fee is $40.
The class will focus on how to help children adapt, will help improve parenting skills and will assist in developing a co-parent relationship, a spokesman said.
