Checkpoint planned

Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a drivers’ license checkpoint in Obion County on State Route 431 Friday. Recognizing the danger presented to the public by unqualified drivers, troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated by drivers who violate the drivers’ license laws of Tennessee, a spokesman said.
