Posted: Friday, April 2, 2010 9:14 am

The University of Tennessee at Martin Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi will initiate the newest members at 6 p.m., April 13, in Watkins Auditorium of Boling University Center.
The banquet will follow the ceremony at 6:30 p.m., in Duncan Ballroom of Boling University Center.
The banquet will honor juniors, seniors and faculty members for their academic excellence at UT Martin.
The speaker will be Dr. Jan Simek, interim president of the University of Tennessee. The event is free and open to the public.
Tickets will be on sale for the banquet at the Information Desk for $16 per person.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi was founded more than 100 years ago and is America’s oldest all-discipline college honor society.
It awards more than $700,000 each year to outstanding members for further academic study.
