Tea tasting in Trenton

Friday, April 30, 2010, there will be the very first “Formal Traditional English Cream Tea” in Trenton. This is a tea tasting featuring three kinds of Imported English Tea, Scones, Teacakes and clotted cream, served in antique teapots, with china and silver place settings, on linen tablecloths. Ken Kowen, noted antique dealer, will display his collection of antique teapots and accessories, and will discuss the history of teapots around the world. Teapots, china, linens and imported tea will be available for purchase. The timeless tradition of a formal cream tea will be observed. There will be three sittings, with a maximum of 15 persons at each sitting. $15 tickets MUST be purchased in advance. No tickets sold at the door. There will be 3 sittings.
