Applications taken for commodities

The Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council, Weakley County Service Center, will be taking applications for commodities starting May 3. Signup are as follows:
•Gleason – Friday, May 7, 8 a.m.-noon at city hall
•Martin – Tuesday, May 11, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at senior citizen building
•Sharon – Wednesday, May 12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at senior citizen building
•Greenfield – Thursday, May 13, 8:30 a.m.-noon at senior citizen building
Please bring proof of income for all living in the household. This may be food stamp card, copy of SSA and/or SSI, VA, or retirement check if comes directly to your house or most recently bank statement or most recently 13 check stubs if paid weekly or seven if paid bi-weekly.
