Decoration Day set
Palestine Cemetery, located on Middle Road near Fulton, will have Decoration Day Sunday.
Donations for perpetual care may be mailed to Gwen Browder, 5810 State Route 116 East, Fulton, KY 42041 or Harold Pewitt, 1993 State Route 1706, Fulton, Ky.
To honor Rose Huey
Rose Huey will be honored June 5 at Keystone Church of God in Tiptonville. A complimentary meal will be served at 4 p.m. and the service will begin at 6.
Those who sat under her ministry at the former Tiptonville Proctor City Church of God, Graves Chapel Church of God, Hornbeak Pentecostal Church or Samburg Pente-costal Church and others whose lives she has touched are encouraged to attend, a spokesman said. Those who have photos, recordings or mementos are asked to contact Debbie Bennett at 884-4353 or May Simpson at 446-7434 to help make this a memorable occasion, a spokesman said.
Breakfasts available
Church of Jesus for All will have a breakfast sale Saturday beginning at 7 at the Casey-Johnson Center on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Union City. The menu will include eggs, meats, bread, coffee and juice for $5. Proceeds will go to support the pastor’s anniversary May 23.
The Rev. Harry Hayes is pastor.
Retreat for women set
A Mothers and Daughters Retreat is planned for Saturday at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church fellowship hall at 720 East College St. in Union City. The theme will be “Reflections of a Godly Woman” and special guests will be Judy House of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Providence, Ky.; Joan W. Blackmon of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Union City and the Pilgrim Rest Impact Praise Team.
A luncheon will be served. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. For more information, call 885-7362.

Hamilton to speak
Grady and Alice Hamilton of Troy will be speakers at Star of Bethlehem Church on Possum Trot Road near the Clayton community Sunday at 11 a.m.
The community is invited to “come and be a part of the excitement of the Spirit of God as we join together in worship on Mother’s Day,” said the pastor, the Rev. Chris Brady.
Yard sale planned
Brown Chapel AME Church, located on the corner of Dobbins and College streets in Union City, will host a yard sale beginning 7 a.m. Saturday.
