Posted: Friday, May 7, 2010 9:50 am

Kid College at the University of Tennessee at Martin has “inspired the desire to inquire” by providing children with an opportunity to have a fun, learning experience each summer. Art FUNdamentals, Computer Genius, The Great Dinosaur Mystery, Spanish, Mad Scientists, Soccer, American Girl Doll Fashion Boutique and Lifesaving 101 are among new classes.
The nine-day program for children who will attend kindergarten in 2010 through the fifth grade is slated for June 7-17.
Parents may review the course descriptions and select the course(s) for their children based on their interest and the appropriate grade level.
Children may register for one to five courses.
Everyone is invited to attend the open house from 4:30-6 p.m., June 17.
Registration fee is $40 per class, and Kid College T-shirts are available for an additional $10.
Advance registration is required and space is limited. To register, call ECCE at 731-881-7082 or 731-881-7081.
To register online and view or download a Kid College brochure, visit the Web site at http://www.utm.edu/departments/ecce/nondegree/children.php.
