| Martin man charged with pot possession |

A search warrant executed Friday at 160 Old Fulton Rd. in Martin has resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Atari Thomas.
According to a Martin Police Department incident report, officers allegedly uncovered a silver briefcase during the search warrant execution, which contained two separate baggies with approximately 14 grams of a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
Officers also reportedly uncovered one set of digital scales, $359 and another bag containing 21 grams of a “green, plantlike material.”
Thomas was arrested at the scene and faces charges of possession of Schedule VI with intent and drug paraphernalia.
