The Westview High School band recently held its annual awards banquet and dinner dance. Those receiving awards were: Saba Getaneh - All West, Elizabeth Bukeavich - 2nd place band supper sales, Julie Reddick - outstanding jazz soloist, All West, Jessica Fowler - most improved guard member, Chantia Brown - outstanding jazz musician/outstanding female musician, All West, Quentin Brown - 1st place band supper sales, most dependable, Franco D’Aprile - All West, Karla Ramos - outstanding color guard member, Sydney McClure - marching leadership award, Brandt Gibson - 2nd place Sally Foster sales, outstanding male musician, Brooke Baker - All West. Not pictured: Sarah Wade - All West, Brandyn Brown - 1st place Sally Foster sales, Layla Gargus - 1st place fruit/ham sales, Katie Moore - most improved musician.
