Wills' dogs qualify for SRS
Wills' dogs qualify for SRS | Super Retriever Series, Bobby Wills, Greenfield
BEST OF THE BEST – Dog trainer and handler Bobby Wills of Greenfield and his faithful canines are no stranger to the annual Super Retriever Series. A Greenfield man and his canines are no stranger to the upcoming crown championship that brings together retrievers and their masters every year. Bobby Wills of Greenfield, professional dog trainers and owner of Lone Oak East Kennels has qualified three dogs for the Super Retriever Series, Crown Championship. The event will be held  this weekend beginning May 20-23 in Little Rock, Ark. To qualify for the Crown, a team must finish in the Top 3 at one of the SRS Qualifying events during the year. Dogs which have qualified are Colt 45 II (Colt), whose owners Paul Wilson of Atwood and Tommy Smith of Henderson.  Colt qualified in Stuttgart, Ark. Outlaw Texas Red  (RED),  owner Jamey Tankersley of Bells, and Rocket Man to the Moon (Rock) is owned by T.J. Leach of Nashville just qualified  this last weekend at Music City HRC SRS Club Qualifier. Wills won the Avery Sporting Dog Cup Championship last year with Colt. He actually had four dogs in the top 5  last weekend with Jason and Ashley Lattus’s dog, Lattus Levi (Levi) finishing 4th.  Wills also finished 5th with Nicky Dunn’s dog Adam’s Shooting Star (Star). Both of Union City, these dogs are not eligible for the Crown. For more information on the Crown Championship, visit www.superretrieverseries.com.
