Union City police are continuing to investigate the thefts of wooden and wicker furniture from the porches of two local residences.
Both incidents occurred within the last month, with the most recent reported Wednesday.
Two willow wood chairs were reported missing Wednesday from Rita Fowler’s porch on East Church Street in Union City, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Earlier this month, Ann Moore reported two white wicker chairs were taken from her front porch on East Main Street sometime May 5-6.
The furniture thefts remain under investigation by police, who have received information about a possible suspect but haven’t yet made any arrests.
Anyone who has information that could be helpful to police is asked to call the Union City Police Department at 885-1515 or Crime Stoppers at 885-TIPS (885-8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers are guaranteed anonymity and could earn cash rewards for tips that solve cases.
