Residents to exhibit at junior angus show in Illinois June 24-26

The Press 6.22.10 Shelley and Ethan Rowlett, of Martin, will exhibit Angus cattle at the 2010 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show in Bloomington, Ill., June 24-26, reports Robin Ruff, junior activities director of the American Angus Association®.
Both are a junior member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in St. Joseph, Mo., is one of 242 young Angus breeders from 23 states who have entered a total of 509 head to compete for championship honors.
Randy Perry, of Prather, Calif., will judge divisions for bred-and-owned heifers, bred-and-owned bulls, cow-calf pairs, owned heifers, and registered Angus steers.
The Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show is sponsored by the American Angus Association and the Illinois Junior Angus Association.
It is one of seven junior Angus shows sanctioned by the national organization for nearly 7,000 junior Angus members in the United States and Canada.
