Red Devilette fans lauded
To The Editor:
I would like to thank all those Red Devilette fans who came out to welcome the South Fulton High School girls’ softball team home after their recent trip to the state tournament.
It was such an awesome sight to see all those die-hard fans still cheering our girls on. The girls were overwhelmed, as were the parents and coaches, to see such a welcoming. Even though we placed third in the state in Class A, we were only put out by two private schools.
We are so proud of the girls for such a great season. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this team play all season. I watched them mature and become a class act team this season.
Again, thanks for all the support, especially at state. We had so many fans there, which really pepped the girls up.
What an awesome sight for the team to come home to see the streets lined with signs, which were provided by Coca Cola, and cheering fans. I would also like to thank the following businesses for the full-color layout in the June 4th edition of the Union City Messenger: Builder’s Supply, McKinney Con-struction, First State Bank, Reelfoot Bank and Ferry Morse. What a great way to end a season. Thanks again for all the support.
