Revival to begin
There will be a general assembly revival at Anointed Church of the Living God, with Bishop Barbara Bolden. The theme will be “The Perfect Storm.”
Services will begin this evening at 7 and continue through Saturday. On  Sunday, services will be at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday’s speaker will be Micheal Carr; on Friday, Bishop Rheba McAfee and Stephanie Marshall will be the speakers. Bishop Rachel Carr will address the church Saturday and on Sunday morning, Joanne Cain, Eni Carney and Bobby Lockridge will bring the message.
“Come out to be a blessing and receive a blessing. The greatest is the servant,” a spokesman said.

Dildine Songfest to open
Dildine Songfest 2010 is hosting the annual Gospel Music Southern Style event Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. at Shepherd’s Field Church on the by-pass in Martin. A love offering will be accepted. The songfest will feature The Dildines, Under Grace, the Mansfield Family, the Rev. Tommy Clark, the senior choir of Union City First United Pentecostal Church and the Tim Clark Trio, with Bill Stroud on steel guitar.

Selling plates
PEOC Ministry in Union City will be selling catfish/buffalo plates Friday and Saturday. The plates will include fish, white beans, coleslaw, dessert and beverage for $6.

To serve pancakes
South Fulton First United Methodist Church’s pancake and sausage breakfast will be Saturday from 7-11. Donations are being sought for the all-you-can-eat meal. The church is located on Orchard Drive.
