The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for the week of Aug. 9-13:
Union City High School
Monday, Aug. 9 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Aug. 10 — Taco with shell, pinto beans, taco salad cup, salsa, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Aug. 11 — Ham and cheese sandwich with bun, corn, baked beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Aug. 12 — Rib patty with bun, cole slaw, black-eyed peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Aug. 13 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Tuesday, Aug. 10 — Breakfast pizza or cereal with graham cracker, juice and milk.
Wednesday, Aug. 11 — Bacon and egg biscuit or cereal with cheese toast, juice and milk.
Thursday, Aug. 12 — French toast with syrup or cereal with graham cracker, juice and milk.
Friday, Aug. 13 — Biscuit and gravy or cereal with toast and jelly, juice and milk.
Lunch
Monday, Aug. 9 — Smuckers peanut butter and jelly Munchin’ Meal or burrito, corn on the cob, green beans, apple, graham cracker and milk or juice.
Tuesday, Aug. 10 — Corn dog or ribette with bread, lima beans, macaroni and cheese, pineapple tidbits, pudding and milk or juice.
Wednesday, Aug. 11 — Bologna and cheese Munchin’ Meal or steak patty with gravy and bread, creamed potatoes, English peas, mixed fruit, Jell-O and milk or juice.
Thursday, Aug. 12 — Pork roast with gravy or Macho Nacho with chips, whole kernel corn, pinto beans, orange wedge, animal cookie and milk or juice.
Friday, Aug. 13 — Hot dog/chili dog with bun or pimento cheese with bread, French fries, slaw, banana, Teddy Grahams and milk or juice.
