From Jacket to Wildcat — Greenfield golfer Taylor Stricklin signed with the Bethel University golf team Monday. Stricklin was a four-year member of the squad at Greenfield High School where he was All-District for three years. The Mathematics major is the son of Bill and Ramona Stricklin of Greenfield. The newest Wildcat feels a strength of his game is his ability to chip. Bethel coach Monte Cunningham said, “Any time we can sign a local player it is nice. Taylor comes from a good program and he knows what it takes to continue to improve. I look forward to working with him.” On hand for Stricklin’s signing were (front, from left) Taylor’s mother Ramona Stricklin, Taylor Stricklin, Bethel golf coach Monte Cunningham, (back, from left) Greenfield Principal Mike Riggs, Greenfield golf coach David Dunlap and GHS Assistant Principal Willie Trevathan.
