The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Aug. 23-27:
Union City High School
Monday, Aug. 23 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Aug. 24 — Beef-a-roni with breadstick, corn, carrot sticks, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Aug. 25 — Baked chicken patty with bun, sandwich salad cup, buttered sliced potatoes, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Aug. 26 — Country fried beef patty with gravy, green peas, black-eyed peas, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Aug. 27 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Wednesday, Aug. 25 — Breakfast pizza or cereal with graham crackers, juice and milk.
Thursday, Aug. 26 — Sausage with gravy and biscuit or cereal with toast and jelly, juice and milk.
Friday, Aug. 27 — Blueberry waffle or cereal with graham crackers, juice and milk.
Lunch
Monday, Aug. 23 — Peanut butter and jelly Munchin’ Meal or pizza, whole kernel corn, green beans, mixed fruit, pudding and milk or juice.
