Sara L. Edwards of Rives has accepted membership in Golden Key Honour Society and was recently honored during an induction ceremony at the University of Memphis.
She is the daughter of Anna Edwards of Polk Station and Greg and Jill Edwards of Union City.
Miss Edwards is majoring in foreign languages at U of M, where she is in the honors program and a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Gamma Eta Chapter.
“It is only fitting that a top academic achiever like Sara be recognized by Golden Key,” said John W. Mitchell, Golden Key’s chief executive officer. “Our members are inspired and motivated not only to achieve exceptional academic accomplishments, but also to make a positive impact on our world through the society’s commitment to service.”
Golden Key is a premier collegiate honor society, with more than 1.7 million members and over 360 chapters worldwide. The non-profit organization provides academic recognition to top-performing college and university students, as well as scholarship and awards, career and internship opportunities, networking, service and leadership development opportunities.
