To celebrate anniversary
The United Church of the Living God at 609 Martin Luther King Drive in Fulton will celebrate the pastor’s anniversary for Elder Margaret Pettigrew Sunday at 3 p.m.
The guest speaker will be the Rev. Brenda Davis of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Martin.
A Pew Rally  will also be held Sunday at 3 p.m., with Bishop Nolan Hardin of Greater Deliverance Ministries in Fulton as the speaker. The community is invited to attend, a spokesman said.

To host Usher Day
Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, located at 1304 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Union City, will observe the annual Usher Day Sunday at 3 p.m.
Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Union City will be special guests and that congregation’s pastor, the Rev. John Brooks, will be the speaker.
The congregation will also be having a yard sale Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. at the church.

Fashion show planned
Pastors and First Ladies are invited to model their Sunday best at Saturday’s fashion show sponsored by Greater Deliverance church in Fulton and St. Luke Church of God in Christ at Bells. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building in Fulton.
Donations of $5 will be accepted, a spokesman said.

Ice cream supper set
Fulton’s First Christian Church is having its seventh annual ice cream supper Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. at the church on the lawn. There will also be gospel singing.
The church is located at 108 Carr St. Fulton Ky.
The community is invited to attend.

Church to celebrate
Troy First Baptist Church is celebrating the 81st anniversary with a homecoming service Sunday. Services will begin at the congregation’s new worship time of 10:45 a.m. There will be a catered lunch following the morning service. 
All former members and guests are invited to attend.
Dr. Vann Kissell is pastor.

McGregors to minister
Johan McGregor and Gregg McGregor, international evangelists and recording artists, will be at homecoming 2010 services at Samburg Assembly of God Sunday. The McGregors, who come from South Africa, will be ministering in music and word in the 10 a.m. service.
Lunch will be provided immediately following the service in the activities center at the church and a gospel singing featuring the McGregor Family and many local singers will begin at 1:30.
The Rev. George Hutch-ison is pastor.

Beans-greens supper set
House of Prayer Pentecostal Church in Fulton will host the annual beans-n-greens supper at Pontotoc Center in downtown Fulton today at 5 p.m. as part of the Railroad Heritage Days Festival celebration.
The community is invited to attend.

Friend-Family Day set
Right Path Ministries, located at 1409 East Main St. in Union City, will celebrate Friends and Family Day Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. and the afternoon speaker will be Paul Jenkins from Bashan Baptist Church in Rives.

Revival beginning
Harris Station Baptist Church will host revival services Monday through Thursday at 7 each evening, with the Rev. Robert Johnson as the speaker.
The Rev. Hershel McCant is pastor.

To mark anniversary
Church of Jesus for All in Union City will be marking their second anniversary with special services Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Michael Benford from Lake Chapel Missionary Church will be the guest speaker and his choir will be special guests.
“Serving the Lord will pay off after a while. First spiritual and then physical food will follow,” according to the pastor, the Rev. Harry Hayes.
