Outage explained

An hour-long power outage Friday evening in the Woodland Mills area was caused by an animal that came into contact with equipment.
The outage began at 4:54 p.m. and affected 16 Gibson Electric Membership Corp. customer-owners. Service was restored at 5:53 p.m., according to a Gibson EMC spokesman.
