Posted: Thursday, October 7, 2010 8:01 pm

By The Associated Press
The following recalls have been announced:
• About 1,500 Castalon frying pans distributed by Tabletops Unlimited Inc., of Carson, Calif., because the enamel coating of the pan can crackle and break off after a few uses, posing a burn hazard to consumers. One incident of a piece of enamel popping off the pan, causing a minor burn to a consumer, has been reported. The pan was sold in a variety of colors and in 14 model numbers at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Wegmans nationwide from May through September 2010. Details: Contact Tabletops Unlimited toll-free at 888-239-2021, the firm’s website at www.ttucorp.com or via e-mail at margaritams@ttucorp.com.
• About 800 Tike Tech Single City X3 and X3 Sport Jogging Strollers manufactured by Tike Tech Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario, because the opening between the grab bar and seat bottom of the stroller can allow an infant’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck by the grab bar, posing a strangulation hazard to young children when a child is not harnessed. No injuries have been reported. The product was sold at juvenile product stores nationwide and websites including amazon.com from October 2009 through February 2010. Details: Contact Tike Tech at 800-296-4602, the firm’s website at www.tiketech.com or via e-mail at recall@tiketech.com.
• About 12,000 Valco Baby Tri Mode Single and Twin Jogging Strollers imported by Unique Baby Products USA LLC of Brooklyn, N.Y., and manufactured by Valco Baby of Brooklyn, because the opening between the grab bar and seat bottom of the stroller can allow an infant’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck by the grab bar, posing a strangulation hazard to young children when a child is not harnessed. No injuries have been reported. The product was sold at juvenile product stores and websites including amazon.com between November 2007 and March 2010. Details: Contact Valco Baby at 800-610-7850, the firm’s website at www.valcobaby.com or via e-mail at recall@alcobaby.com.
