Cancer vaccine to be talked

The University of Tennessee at Martin chapters of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and Sigma Xi are sponsoring the seminar “Vaccine for Cancer Treatment,” with guest speaker Dr. James W. Hodge, at 7 tonight in Room 230 of Boling University Center. Hodge is a senior scientist and director of the Recombinant Vaccine Group in the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Biology at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, in Bethesda, Md. He received his doctorate in comparative and experimental medicine from the University of Tennessee, his master of business administration from George Washington University and his bachelor of science degree from UT Martin, where he was an active member and an officer of the SMACS chapter.
