UC council to meet

The Union City city council will meet this evening at 5:30 in the courtroom of the Union City Municipal Building.
There will be approval of minutes from the Oct. 19 and 26 sessions; a proclamation from Jacob Lucas; presentation of the 2010-11 operating budget; authorization for a letter of termination of contract with the Ken-Tenn Humane Society; receiving of the minutes of the Oct. 25 Planning Commission meeting; and recognition of visitors for the purpose of hearing grievances and/or complaints.
Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month and all sessions are open to the public.
