Art classes planned

The Messenger, November 8, 2010 The Obion County Central High School Art Club is again sponsoring art lessons for children in grades kindergarten through eighth. The lessons will be taught Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the OCCHS art room by OCCHS art faculty, assisted by Art Club members. Students have the option of selecting the classes that appeal to them from month to month. Cost of the lessons is $10 per lesson or $25 per unit of three lessons, payable when students come to class. All supplies will be provided. The November classes will be Tuesday, Nov. 16 and Nov. 23 and will focus on water color painting. The remainder of the schedule will include cartooning in January, pottery in February and printmaking in March. Students should enter the building from the back parking lot through the commons area.
