Kenton First State adds staffer

First State Bank recently added Rebekah Simmons as a loan assistant and teller at the Kenton office, located at 107 North Poplar St. First State offers banking and ag services through the Kenton office, where Ms. Simmons will be responsible for developing client relations and daily loan and deposit operations. A 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School, Ms. Simmons has worked for First State as a teller and at Union City’s City Hall as a clerk. “I am pleased that Rebekah has returned to First State in her new role. Her positive attitude, willingness to learn and teamwork strength will be a great asset to First State,” said Brooke Carson, branch manager of First State Bank in Kenton. “Rebekah has local ties to both Mason Hall and Kenton communities, as well as the Rives and Union City area. With customer service being top priority, she strives each day to provide customers with the best banking experience.” “I feel that my new position as a loan assistant is a great opportunity.
