Union City police are investigating the theft of a trailer from a church on West Main Street.
Police were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to the Pentecostal church at 2501 West Main St. in Union City, where pastor Billy Uzzle reported the disappearance of a 16-foot trailer that has been parked in front of the building to hold debris while renovation is under way, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Uzzle told police he last saw the trailer Nov. 23 when he left the building around midnight and it was first noticed missing by a church member sometime after noon Friday.
The trailer is black with a wooden floor and has a fold-down metal ramp on the back, police reported.
