SCV meet slated

The Sons of Confederate Veterans local camp 176 will meet for a regular session Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Museum on Edwards Street in Union City. This session will constitute the group’s annual camp business meeting for the purpose of electing new officers for the upcoming year. All members are urged to attend since these elected officers will be guiding camp activities for the coming year.
The SCV works in conjunction with other historical groups to preserve Confederate history. It is not affiliated with any other group. The SCV rejects any group whose actions tarnish or distort the image of the Confederate soldier or his reasons for fighting.
