Recital features DSCC students

Dyersburg State Community College recently featured the talents of students taking Private Applied Music courses with a recital held at Dyersburg First Baptist Church. In addition to the 13 music students who participated in the recital, Greg Moberg of Dyersburg performed his graduation recital pieces on guitar. Students who participated in the recital included Ashton Rickman of Union City, piano; Holly Arwood of Ripley, piano and clarinet; Mark Brown II of Dyersburg, baritone; Hannah Evans of Newbern, soprano; Shelby Fultz of Dyersburg, piano; Moberg, snare drum; Weston Petty of Dyersburg, guitar; Zach Rea of Martin, tenor and piano; Eddie Russell of Dyersburg, tenor; Katie Sykes of Dyersburg, soprano; Ashleigh VanCleave of Ridgely, mezzo-soprano; Dennis Wallace of Martin, piano and cornet; Jerrold Webb of Dyersburg, bass; and John South Wilson of Dyersburg, piano. DSCC’s jazz choir, Syncopation, also performed selections from the musical “Mary Poppins.”
