Public meeting set

There will be a public meeting Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at Hornbeak City Hall, located at 212 West Main Street. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the city’s intent to submit an application for a FY2011 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Program. This program will provide disaster relief of unmet needs resulting from the flooding of May 2010. Concerned citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on possible projects, a spokesman said.
