The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Jan. 3-7:
Union City High School
Monday, Jan. 3 — Professional development.
Tuesday, Jan. 4 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 5 — Chili and grilled cheese sandwich, corn, green peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 6 — Ham, macaroni and cheese, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, cornbread, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 7 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School
Monday, Jan. 3 — Professional development.

Monday, Jan. 3 — Whole grain Pop Tart and fresh orange wedges or cereal with graham crackers, milk and juice.
Tuesday, Jan. 4 — Whole grain oatmeal cereal bar or cereal with yogurt, milk and juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 5 — Whole grain breakfast pizza or cereal with whole grain cinnamon toast, milk and juice.
Thursday, Jan. 6 — Sausage with whole grain biscuit or cereal with graham crackers, milk and juice.
Friday, Jan. 7 — Whole grain pancake stick with syrup or cereal with whole grain toast and jelly, milk and juice.
Lunch
Monday, Jan. 3 — Whole grain corn dog or burrito, whole kernel corn, green beans, pineapple tidbits, graham cracker and milk or juice.
Tuesday, Jan. 4 — Whole grain sausage pizza or crispito with cheese, cheesy potatoes, stewed carrots, sliced pears, scobby stick and milk or juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 5 — Turkey and cheese whole grain Munchin’ Meal or lasagna with whole grain bread stick, mashed potatoes, English peas, baked apples, Jell-O and milk or juice.
Thursday, Jan. 6 — Chicken patty with bun or pork patty with bun, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, mixed fruit, cookie and milk or juice.
Friday, Jan. 7 — Cheeseburger with bun or tuna salad with crackers, potato wedges, slaw, pickle slices, fresh banana, kids snack mix and milk or juice.
