Poster winners honored by UCFD

Several students at Union City schools and Lake Road Elementary School were recently honored as  winners in the 2010 fire prevention poster competition sponsored by the Union City Fire Department.
Pre-kindergarten winners from Union City Elementary School included Mack Lawrence, first place; and Jayden Robbins, second place.
At Union City High School, first place was claimed by Taylor Brooke Herchenhahn.
The fire prevention poster contest winners from Lake Road included:
Kindergarten — First place, Chyenne Staffey.
First grade — First place, Silas Petty; second place, Paige Waites; and third place, Brandon Scott.
Second grade — First place, Emily James.
Third grade — First place, Cadon Black; second place, Tripp Sharp; and third place, Patrick Bishop.
Fourth grade — First place, Kaylee Mooney; second place, Dalton Barnes; and third place, Josh James.
Fifth grade — No entries.
Sixth grade — First place, Lacey Smith; second place, Kaitlynn Reeves; and third place, Savanna Barnes.
