The following cases were disposed of Dec. 11 and Dec. 13 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Raymond Morris, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were filed in the docket books in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• Candace Anderson (246 West Main St., Hornbeak) — probation violation, 30 days jail, costs.
• Barbie S. Burton (721 Sunswept Drive, Apt. 4, Union City) — no driver’s license, $10 fine, costs, 30 days jail suspended; driver’s license to be carried and exhibited, $10 fine, costs.
• Randall Capps (Boyette Road, Tiptonville) — misdemeanor theft, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, costs, $2,500 restitution to the victim, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation; criminal trespass, 30 days jail suspended, costs; vandalism, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, costs, $49 restitution to the victim, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Candace N. Green (709 Tilghman St., Kenton) — worthless check, paid check and costs.
• Teresha Harris (Ford Street, Union City) — driving without a license, $10 fine, costs.
• Jessie Mann (2613 East Reelfoot Ave., Union City) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, pay check and costs, six months supervised probation.
• Billie J. Martin (2942 Section Line Road, Union City) — simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, $250 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, six months supervised probation; possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, $150 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, six months supervised probation.
• Adrian J. Meadows (1415 Camden St., Union City) — possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to possess a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and conspiracy to possess a Schedule VI controlled substance, waived to the grand jury.
• Michael J. Shagstad (302 West Highland Ave., Fulton) — two counts of assault, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, costs, six months supervised probation, no contact with the victim on each count.
• Constance White (419 South Front St., Kenton) — possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to possess a Schedule II controlled substance and two counts of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, waived to the grand jury.
• Bruce Wiggins (533 Nash St., Apt. 94, Union City) — criminal trespass, $50 fine, costs.
• Wesley Wyatt (8304 Chapel Hill Road, South Fulton) — simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, $250 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended; possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, $150 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended.
• Kadell R. Young (537 Nash St., Apt. 100, Union City) — criminal trespass, $50 fine, costs.
• Brenda K. Fountain (604 Greenwood St., Union City) — simple assault, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except six months or six months in-patient rehabilitation, costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Jennifer L. Burress (3888 Salem Church Road, Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $250 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, complete alcohol and drug program.
• Kenneth L. Clay (321 Elm St., Tiptonville) — probation violation, 60 days jail, costs.
• Joshua Cox (1109 East Exchange St., Union City) — sound amplification system in motor vehicle, $50 fine, costs.
• Judy A. Crawford (525 Nash St., Apt. 68, Union City) — probation violation, 60 days jail, costs.
• Melissa L. Geary (619 North First St., Union City) — worthless check, paid check and costs.
• Sean E. Jackson (716 North Fifth St., Union City) — expired registration, $5 fine, costs.
• Justin Johnson (1235 Shawtown Road, Troy) — theft of merchandise, $50 fine, costs, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, six months supervised probation, no contact with Goody’s stores.
• Joshua H. Pollock (781 Canada Drive, Obion) — resisting a stop, halt or frisk, $50 fine, costs.
• Adam E. Thornton (228 South 12th St., Obion) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, pay check and costs, six months supervised probation.
• Gary Walters (1810 East Vine St., Union City) — worthless check, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended, pay check and costs, six months supervised probation.
• Bruce E. Williams (1815 Wedgewood Drive, Union City) — forgery and worthless check, waived to the grand jury.
• Ashley N. Wright (1815 Wedgewood Drive, Union City) — waived to the grand jury.
• Allan R. Younger (411 South Miles Ave., Union City) — worthless check, paid check and costs.
