The Obion County School System approved the following school calendar for the 2011-12 school year at its monthly school board meeting Friday morning:

6 — Parent/teacher conference, 1-7 p.m.
7 — Fall break
10 — Columbus Day
November 2011
23-27 — Thanksgiving holiday
December 2011
5 — 73rd day of school, 1st semester
6-8 — Adequate Yearly Progress/End of Course exams
20 — Half-day (no lunch served)
21-31 — Christmas holidays
