Chelsea Stuart Hale, daughter of Dr. John and Jane Hale of Union City, was recently named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
She is a sophomore majoring in pre-medicine in the College of Arts and Science.

Payton Ray Russom, son of Randy and Jennifer Russom of Kenton, was named to the Dean’s List at Vanderbilt University in Nashville for the recent fall semester.
He is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Science and is majoring in cellular and molecular biology.

Meagan Bing and Michael Yandell, both of Union City, recently received the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges Award at the annual University of Tennessee at Martin Who’s Who award ceremony.
The Who’s Who Award is one of the most prestigious honors given to students who have proven strength and character in academic achievement, co-curricular activities and community service.
The award process was established in 1934 and is conferred by more than 1,900 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, according to a spokesman at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
