Free family education course offered

The National Association Alliance on Mental Illness — in conjunction with Dyersburg State Community College’s Continuing Edu-cation Division — is offering a free comprehensive course specifically for families of people with major depression, bipolar illness, schizophrenia or obsessive-compulsive disorder. The 10-week course is designed to help anyone understand and cope. It will start Thursday and classes will meet from 6-8 p.m. For more information or to register, contact Birgit Northcutt at (731) 286-3265.
