College artists featured at UTM

The Messenger 3.23.11

The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Visual and Theatre Arts and the West Tennessee Regional Art Center in Humboldt will present the 11th annual “Artists of the 21st Century” exhibition of college artists from all southeastern states March 30-April 21 at the center.
This year’s juror was Andee Rudloff of the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville. Artists from seven states submitted works and 14 student artists from UT Martin were chosen. The event is free and open to the public.
Students in the exhibition include Debra Barker, Adam Gammons and Brad Henderson, all of Union City; Landon Blakesley of Paris; Jason Chittum of Tullahoma; Memori DePriest of Linden; David W. Frazier and Ron Peckham, both of Martin; Sarah Grace Jaggers of Selmer; Jeremy Jones of Camden; Melissa Michel of Trenton; Terran Qualls of Savannah; Cody Rainey of Huntingdon; and Andrea Sprague of Smyrna.
