Veggie plants for sale

Students involved in the Obion County Central High School greenhouse will be selling a variety of veggie plants through Friday from 3-5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the school in Troy.
Several tomato species and California Wonder and Rainbow mixed bell peppers will be offered for $3 a six-pack, with Straight Eight cucumbers and Summer Crookneck squash going for $1 a plant. Bulk prices will be available.
Other ornamental plants will go on sale soon, according to a spokesman.
