UT Martin ACS students attend national meeting

Thirteen University of Tennessee at Martin student members of the American Chemical Society recently attended the national ACS meeting in Anaheim, Calif.
They presented a poster and a demonstrations program, received plaques at the awards ceremony, participated in workshops and helped conduct activities.
Students who participated included Marcelina Glover of Memphis, Andrew Castleman of Humboldt, Sarah Griffin of Lebanon, Zalak Patel of Martin, Paul Jones of Bartlett, Lee Elliott of Martin, Gilbert Forgays of Clarksville, ACS president Dr. Bassam Shakhashiri, Dr. S.K. Airee, ACS past president Dr. Thomas H. Lane, Sam Moran of Clarksville, Corey Jones of Linden, Bethany Aden of McKenzie, Kayla Baker of Troy, Chelsea Peeler and Aaron Crump of Coalfield.
