Rural fire fees due

The Obion County clerk will begin collecting Rural Fire subscription fees July 1 for services provided outside the established municipalities of Hornbeak, Kenton, Obion, Rives, Samburg, Troy and Union City. First-time subscribers must complete a rural fire response subscription contract on properties they want to be covered under the agreement.
The annual fee is $75 per covered address and is due on or before Aug. 1.
